President Prabowo Subianto is prioritizing infrastructure development in the four new provinces of Papua: Central Papua, Highland Papua, South Papua, and Southwest Papua. 

Coordinating Minister Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono emphasized the need for government centers and essential infrastructure in these regions. The government aims to build offices, housing, 

and transportation facilities while supporting economic growth through a transmigration program. Local governments are expected to provide land, while the central government handles construction.
